Back at an early location with THAT rubber cape

The Severn Estuary continues to fascinate the Pluvmantelo team so we caught up with Tide back on the England/Wales border and the recently-bought old rubber cape. This old cape continues to fascinate as we’d like to know more about its past: who bought it, where did they buy it and where was it worn?

It must have been expensive when new so clearly it wasn’t mixing with 1950s/1960s riff-raff, but who knows?

Luckily Tide gave us an insight into what it looked like when worn and it’s certainly one of the best – no, THE best – cape in the Pluvmantelo collection. So far.
