Bus stop goodness

Bus stop goodness

1

The Cape Queen might have bought a new car for getting around her part of Mercia but her interest in local architecture, including proper bus stops, remains undiminished.

And there’s something special about an isolated bus stop: How many people use it, how often do the buses come by, and when was this bus stop built? What stories could it tell?  Undeniably, even the humble stone bus stop can create interest among those interested in architectural history, and up on the moors there was much intrigue.

Anyway, here’s Clair in her recently-bought early-1970s black and white cape, which joins her collection of genuine old-school spotted pvc capes – we hope you like the images.

As always, comments welcome – and don’t forget we have capes for sale!
