Capes on tour: Stone, Staffordshire

Stone’s a proper, traditional English town and it’s the template for what a town should be like. It’s bustling, courtesy of its variety of shops (independent and chain) and there’s plenty of car parking. Its architecture adds to the traditional town feeling that there’s no need to go to out-of-town shopping sites for a ‘shopping experience’, and Clair The Cape Queen favours supporting town centres.

And while she was in Stone she took a walk by the canal in her Klepper cape, which is one of her most-liked capes. But who would realise it could look so good in black and white? There’s a true noir edge here and it’s one we really like, especially in the graffitied underpass.
