Green’s good t’go
Green’s good t’go
It certainly was on a cold, slightly snowy day in Clair The Cape Queen’s part of the world. This was the first outing for her Rukka cape in quite some time and she appreciates both its rain and wind resistance, courtesy of its waxed cotton construction. And yes, it hangs well too – and sounds good too!
It comes from an era when raincapes were PROPERLY made, Rukka (along with Bormax) leading the drive towards better quality. And this one, which is probably 40 or so years old, has lasted very well – despite its exposure to the elements

A new raincape ? Dear Claire, how do you make to find all these capes ? Congratulations ! It’s very difficult for me to find one …
Allerschönste Clair, ich liebe dich in deinem grünen Rukka-Cape und ich liebe deine Bommelmütze, aber dein Cape hat eine Kapuze, bitte setz sie auf, ein einziges Mal!
