In the avenues and alleyways

…. You might just find Clair The Cape Queen. But ‘Avenues and Alleyways’ might be familiar to some older Pluvmantelo followers as a 1973 single by Tony Christie. It came to prominence not only for its chart success for ITV series ‘The Protectors’.

The title was highly appropriate for The cape Queen as she spent an afternoon exploring some industrial architecture, wearing not one but two capes. The first, an old black rubber cape, has the higher collar Clair likes (and we know some of our followers do too) and the other is her older plastic floral print number, which added some colour to an otherwise dull day.
