It’s a contender – and we’ve reached our 100th post

Yes it is: Clair The Cape Queen’s latest acquisition is the 1960s cycle cape bought from Atomic Goose, a Derbyshire shop selling mid-century and vintage décor, curios and, in The Cape Queen’s case, this fabulous cape. It’s already bagged in a place in the Top Five Pluvmantelo capes, beaten into second by the long rubberised satin one we featured recently.

Now there are a good few cycle capes in the Pluvmantelo collection but this one simply beats all the others thanks to its look, its feel and its sound. It even has a marvellous vintage odour that makes it even better, The Cape Queen says. It certainly looked the part on a recent shopping expedition and even raised a few comments on how good it looked. You can’t get better than that, can you?
