On the borders with a red Rukka cape

When it comes to classic rain capes is there a more valued name than Rukka? Their quality means even older ones hold their value but they’re more easily found than a Bormax cape, whose prices are way higher. Here we see Veronica wearing one of several Rukka capes from the Pluvmantelo collection. Its decent, homely dark red suited the leaf-carpeted wooded location we used on the England/Wales border and Veronica clearly loved wearing it. The cape’s still in remarkably good order despite being more than 30 years and given a chance Veronica would probably have taken it home…
