Out of Town

Back out in the semi-wilds of Mercia Clair The Cape Queen dug out her 1960s clear and blue-striped pvc cape which she’s owned for several years. It’s a new cape to Pluvmantelo and a much-loved one, in perfect condition.

The stripes aren’t as bold as those on the ‘sweet bag cape’ that Pluvmantelo has already featured, but it’s a fine part of the collection.

And up on a drover’s track we came across this working quarry, set a long way down. It wasn’t operating the day we were there and in the peaceful atmosphere often the only sound was the rustle of Clair’s cape. Being high up and in the strong breeze Clair was glad of the cape and we think it looks pretty good too.
