The Cape Queen spotted in a spotted cape

Clair The Cape Queen’s clear spotted cape surely evokes the swingin’ sixties more than any other she wears. The harder, less pliant PVC gives it a pronounced, less ‘falling’ shape but it’s the clear material with black spots that makes it so redolent of an earlier decade. And while we weren’t in Carnaby Street or Portmeirion, and there were no mods or suedeheads in sight, Clair’s cape gave us a slip back in time for an hour or so.
