Hand up who remembers the Monochrome Set? Well we did – it’s an age thing – and the band’s appearance on The John Peel Show. Founded in 1978 as a post-punk, new wave outfit, the group’s still going today.

So it’s good to link The Monochrome Set to this monochrome set: there’s no need for further comment to these images of The Cape Queen in a more 1960s style.
