The two-tone ‘tonic’ cape

Happy New Year from Pluvmantelo and The Cape Queen gets the new year’s posts off with her 1960s ‘tonic’ cape. Like the suits worn by mods and suede ‘eads in the mid-1960s, Clair’s cape has a two-tone colourway, changing from green to mauve as it catches the light. And even on a seriously dull winter day near a lake deep in Mercia Clair’s cape added some much-needed cheerfulness.
