Sandy underfoot – but not by the sea. Capes in Surrey

Motoring down to the Surrey hills with a bootful of capes the roads are like those often featured in the excellent ‘Mysteries of Edgar Wallace’ series, except now the view wasn’t in black and white and we weren’t in a Humber Super Snipe. The Surrey Hills with their excellent flora provided a great cape backdrop, providing plenty of colour for a small cape selection that included floor-dragging red pvc and a black pvc ones. But as we’ve seen in the past, it doesn’t have to be raining to wear a raincape…
