Happy New Year – we’re back on track for 2026

HaHa – forgive the pun as we hit the 2026 ground running but a New Year brings a new fresh zeal for more of Clair The Cape Queen out ‘n’ about exploring while wearing one of her many, many capes.

At the end of last year we were very lucky to have been given a collection of capes from a friend of ours in mainland Europe: Big Thanks – you know who you are. There will be more of those capes to come in the coming months.

Meanwhile one of our most popular 2025 photo sets was at Stone’s railway station. We found it by chance but Clair, ever the one to explore interesting architecture, was in her element. And because of that here’s more from that wonderful afternoon back in the late summer.
