Stepping out

There’s a lovely flight of Victorian era steps close to where The Cape Queen lives. It’s off the radar and it’s mellowed beautifully over the decades. Being close to some trees the steps have developed a somewhat green look – just right to complement the cape being worn on this trip to the shops.

It wasn’t a wet day when the Cape Queen went out: in fact it was quite sunny, but any outdoors venturing means wearing a cape. And why not?
